What makes you happy?

When it comes to happiness I think of my best friend Danielle Beaudoin. Whenever I am down she is always there for me, and I am always there for her. We do just about everything together. We are with each other just about every day, and she lives right up the hill from my house. We do just about everything for each other, like whenever one of us is sick we go to their house and take care of them, and cook them soup. Danielle always know how to bring a smile to my face. Even though we might get in to fights, she will always be my best friend, and I will love her forever in a sister kind of way.

What is your favorite?

My Favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. I really don't know why. I am just one of my friends, Maija Beaudoin. I have tried many different flavors, and I just don't seem to like any of them. I mean they are not terrible...where I want to spit it out of my mouth. Mr. Graph said that i should try birthday cake. I don't know, I want to but it is really hard for me to find ice cream that I will actually like. But he said that it is just vanilla ice cream with like confetti in it, so I really do not know. I think that I might try it.

Do You Have Bieber Fever?

When it comes to Justin Bieber, do you have "Bieber fever?". Most girls do. I guess I kind of have it, but I don't really like Justin Bieber for looks I just like him for his music. Like right now he has a new Christmas album out, and I like just about every song on there, I just about like all of his other songs that he had crated. What I do not get is the whole this is he a father or not.

Christmas 2011

Over Christmas break some usual family traditions that my family does as a family. such as....go to church. come home and eat dinner as a family. And by family I mean....Mom,dad, grandma, aunt and my two brothers. after that we usually open the gifts as a family. It usually take my family an hour to open all of the gifts. This Christmas I know that there will be a lot of laugh and memories made.

Can't We All Just Get Along?

Can’t We All Just Get along

In my book yellow star. I really like the lay out of the book. How the Author included the dates and what was happening on each day, just like little Martha did when she was actually writing her diary.

In my book Yellow Star, There is a war going on, and Martha one of the little Jewish girls who lives in the ghetto and the really sad thing about that was every Sunday outside the Jewish house they would have food and if you didn’t get there in time they wouldn’t care and would not give you food. And see now if you were to walk in to a Grocery store, now a days the works would now say “no you can’t eat here”. that is not nice, They are just like everyone else but different religion. During the book, the soldiers go up to every door and say give us your children! Martha and her family were all hiding in a closet. The solider then broke down the doors and came in and saying where are you? We are here to get your kids. They then found the family and took Martha’s older sister. Martha’s dad then stopped them and got his daughter back. When I read that part of the book it was very precious, because if you think about it her dad just saved her life. At the end of the book Martha gets killed along with the rest of her family by the soldiers.

I learned that back then if you were Jewish you would have to have a yellow star on your jacket. I don't think that is fair just because of your religion. All of the Jewish people need to hide for the German soldiers otherwise if they found you, they would take you away and make you a slave.

Am I Proud Of My Contry?

What I the first thing that comes to your mind? I Think of Heroes. I mean just think of all of those people who go out every day and protect our country, to me that is an honor. Just think if we didn’t have all of them, where would we be? How would our country look? And what would happen to our population?

One of my best friends Sierra’s dad is in the marines, and well he really doesn’t go to war, he is one of the people that tell what people go where and when. I mean I guess it is kind of scary having a dad in the marines, because you never know just one day he could leave to go to war and just maybe not come back. I don’t know how that would be, because my dad doesn’t do that. If my dad was to be in the army I would hope that he would one of the people who didn’t fight, he would just be the person to send people out to fight.

Just thinking of the people out there that go out every day to fight. Just think of all soldiers that went out to maybe give up their life just to keep our country safe, to me that’s a honor. Here are some of the really big wars that America has fought.

• 9-11
• Civil war
• World war 1
• World war 2

To me I don’t know what I would do if one of my family members were out in the wars and they didn’t return home. I would hope that they would make it home with all four limbs, and a healthy body. When I think of all the wars that soldiers go out to I am honored, because if we didn’t have our soldiers what would our world be like, I’m thinking that it wouldn’t be the way that it is now. So if anyone would ask me if I am proud of my country I would say “yes.”

My Trip to Missouri

Authors note: I choose the topic "my trip to Missouri" because I had a lot of fun and I wanted to write about it.

My favorite vacation is when went to Missouri when I was ten years old. I went there with my friend we went down there to see my cousins, Cody, Ellie, Abbie and lexi. I love them all so much. When we got there it was about 6:30pm and the first that we did when we got there was, but our stuff down stairs. In the guest house, and then sierra and I went swimming with our cousins.

Later on that night when the kids had to go to bed at 8:30, once they had fallen asleep. It was about 9:00 and then at like 11:00 Sierra and I were bored of just watching TV and we asked if we could go night swimming. Peggy said yes. Sierra and I then went back downstairs go into out swimsuits and headed out side.

The next day Sierra and I woke up at about 9:00 am and went upstairs and saw all the kids up and eating breakfast. Sierra and I ate breakfast and then went swimming. When we were swimming Peggy and my aunt Sylvia asked if we would want to babysit for about 2 hours for all the kids and that they would pay us. We said yes. My aunt Sylvia said that they would be home about 7:30 and leave here about 5:00.

When we were babysitting Lexi was one at the time, so she still needed to have her diaper changed and I asked sierra to change it and she said no, so then I ended up changing her diaper…but I didn’t really care because it’s my cousin. It was then time for the kids to go to bed. I helped Lexi and sierra helped Ellie and Abbie, Cody didn’t need any help because he was seven years old. Them they all went to bed. We asked if we could go night swimming. Peggy said that was ok.

The next day in St. Louis it was July 27, 2010 and it was my birthday and I was turning 11 years old. Peggy asked me what was one thing that I wanted to do today for my birthday. I said to her that I wanted to go into the St. Louis Arch. Peggy said that, that would be ok and that we would leave the house at 2:30 so we had an hour to “primp”. Sierra and I each decided that we were going to take a shower. So Sierra took a shower first and then I did. We then left and we got lost and the way there, we found out way and got in to the arch and went to the top and took pictures and looked outside of the windows. We went home ate dinner and went swimming again. Then we watched TV and went to bed. The next morning we left St. Louis and got home at about 7:00. I loved having fun in St. Louis and made many memories
